Creative Outlets can Reduce Bullying, Boredom and Bad Moods

Brain-light fun! When kids get to explore new things, be creative and have fun, one wonders how this impacts the persons they become in later life. My grandies love going to Kidtime where the imagination runs in all directions. Took them yesterday and so enjoy witnessing their adventures with building a cabin, using an old time ringer phone, grocery shopping in a modern pretend store with everything packaged and then going to an old fashioned store across the room with goods in barrels and bins, playing with dinosaurs in a running water container with pebbles, playing on stage with costumes and puppets…..and so much more. Creativity encourages good feelings, reduces the need for bullying, fighting and being bored. Boredom, if used wisely, can breed creativity but if not used wisely, can breed trouble stemming from a bad mood. Giving options for kids to feel the adventures of exploring their own creativity, even if messy, is a super investment for their well being now and later.
