I was choking, wheezing, coughing intensely from something that went down the wrong pipe. 2 yr. old Claire stood by me, looking up, and in her wee little voice filled with compassion, said, “You okay, Boo?” Nothing has ever touched me so deeply as her pure, innocent caring to go beyond her own little world that they say toddlers live in. There are exceptions to all the rules set by society and stated by the researchers. She didn’t leave my side. I felt loved and cared for to the inth degree!
