Indoor picnic! Grayson and Claire asked me yesterday if they could make a tent behind the couch and eat a picnic lunch there. Of course, Grandma Boom is all up for fun ideas. Stretches me to think of more options for indoor picnics! Fun concept. Kids have the darnedest great ideas! And more fun than many adults!

It’s actually enlivening to support kids’ fun ideas. They gain confidence while they are having fun. When possible, just BE with them when they are being creative in play. Entering into their creative world with not only strengthen the relationship but expand your ability to relate with your inner child. THAT is an empowered connection with children. Your inner child will be glad you did!
