Kids building relationships with their own brand of communication skills

A moment where time stood still. Claire saw another baby toddling around at the outdoor gathering. She and the other little girl approached one another, staring directly into each other’s eyes. They both jibber-jabbered something. And then, at the exact same time, each one of these precious little ones reached out a hand, touching the other’s hand. Then they both continued looking directly at one another, holding hands for maybe as long as 30 seconds. They were sooo connected in a PURE way. I felt blessed to witness it and the other little one’s parents saw it, too. Our hearts all swelled in unison of recognizing this very special moment.
