Connections from the Past having Impact TodaySmelling crayons always takes me back to kindergarten and Sister Proxeda telling the whole class to take out crayons to color. It smelled like crayon soup. Many past connections live with us today. We can choose to keep them or discard them by reprogramming where we want to file them in our minds. Trash? Keeper? Re-flection? Below is a photo when I was 3 yrs. old at Daytona Beach. Something touched my spirit so deeply that I must have ocean play in the waves every year and have done so for 62 years without missing one year. Ocean play is a keeper for me as I continue to repeat the joyful fun. It is great medicine for the heart and spirit, body and mind when you can play in an ageless, timeless way.
