Deep Breathing

Deep Breathing

deepbreathingResearch shows deep breathing brings in 6 to 7 pints of oxygen for fuel in the mind and body. Short breaths bring in 1 to 2 pints of oxygen for fuel. Teaching children to blow big bubbles helps them to take in more oxygen and calm themselves in a fun way. Insufficient oxygen lends itself to negative thinking, unsettled moods, difficulties making good decisions, etc. Deep breathing gives fuel for positive thoughts, good feelings, clear decisions, better energy. I have been teaching young children deep breathing for decades. Wouldn’t it be fantastic to have this as a regular part of their education!. All of us have so much potential when we tap our natural inner resources.
