Heart Health with Good Choices for Preschoolers

Why teach preschoolers how bad choices hurt their own hearts and good choices make their hearts feel good? One in every four male deaths in the U.S. is from heart disease. For every woman who dies from breast cancer, six die from heart dise…ase. And it is NOT just a food/exercise factor. Our choices in what/how we think and feel are major contributors to heart health. PREVENTION starts with children. And when I arrived at the daycare and heard little voices calling out, “Grandma Boom” my heart was tickled pink that the children were excited I was there, knew they would have fun and would learn something new about their own internal resources.
