Building Superkid Power with Simple Fun Measures

It’s a fun adventure to stir cooking food! Things that we take for granted are pure excitement for toddlers. Letting 23 month old Claire join in with a wooden spoon she could manage with her little hand kept her focused and happy. It is nothing short of an experiential lesson in kitchen chemistry!

Children want to learn what makes the world tick and how to help it tick. Allowing them to join in to simple acts that are normal for adults will entice them to feel like they are part of the community and want to do more. This is part of the way to build a foundation for responsibility. And make it a fun adventure will lead to confidence building. It is stressful for young children to not be able to do what they see others doing who are taller and more capable. Create bridges whenever possible and glean the reward of children who grow up wanting to help and feeling needed. Superkid Power!
