Emotional Intelligence and Superkid Power trapped by Cabin Fever; Released with Artwork

Getting out tension with artwork! This piece of art was done by my 5 yr. old grandson yesterday. We’re socked in with extremely cold temp. and lots of ice. Cabin fever happens! Grayson was so rustrated from days of cabin fever he was not making good choices, feeling very grumpy, didn’t want to cooperate, nothing was ‘right’, was getting hurt bumping into things and was making bad choices with his behavior and words. I knew a piece of paper was not going to be big enough for this job, so I pulled out a posterboard and handed him crayons, telling him if he wanted to feel better he could get out his bad feelings on the paper. You see the result. THAT is what came out of his mind, emotions, body that was built-up-tension. His behavior, tone of voice, attitude, choices and whole demeanor changed after this artwork tension release. THAT is tapping his own Superkid Power and developing emotional intelligence while having a lot more fun in his day! I told him he did a GREAT JOB and he beamed!
