New Moon Winter Solstice

Time for new beginnings. I hosted a drumming in honor of these special energies at this time when we prepare ourselves for a new year. I invited everyone to draw symbols on a paper heart of what they wanted to change and manifest in their lives in 2015. And then we drummed in honor of our intentions and for goodwill on the planet. It summoned feelings of communion with each other and the earth. We all felt such deep inner peace at the end of the evening. And we came from different directions in life from a university professor to an award winning mystery author, Bed and Breakfast owners, a leading business consultant and speaker, a store owner and myself. Wonderful evening and celebration ritual.
