Some days there is a calling from deep inside me to switch things up. Simply stepping out of the normal daily box is what the inner voice doctor prescribes.
Yesterday was one of those days. It was raining steadily. A day of business meetings and errands was complete. I was near Lithia where I love to hike. THAT was the answer.
No umbrella. Steady rain. I didn’t care. I wanted out of the box. So I headed up the trail and got soaked. It left me happy just to be doing something different. So grateful to have Lithia’s magical trail where I could smell the greenery from the drenching of the rain as it glistened near the song of the stream.
Getting out of the daily life box was just the medicine I needed to feel an ounce of awesomeness in my aging this week. #earthisheaven@67
