The green glob in Grayson’s hand is the playdough I instructed him to use to get his bad feelings out when he was having difficulties this morning managing them appropriately. I asked him why he was holding his nose. He said, “Because good feelings smell good and bad feeling smell bad. I made a mountain of bad feelings come out of me and they smell really bad.” After this release of bad feelings, Grayson had a complete turn around with his attitude. I told him how proud I was of him to make a good choice to get those bad feelings out in a good way. He threw out his hands, dropped his green mountain of bad feelings onto the floor, grinned from ear to ear and hugged me like there was no tomorrow. I’m one happy Grandma Boom to have been a part of this transformation! And he was one happy grandson!
