Claire wanted to swing at the park. She was carrying two buckets. I put her in the swing and held onto the buckets which was evidently unnerving to her so she screamed pointing at the buckets. I put one into her left hand. She kept screaming. I finally understood that she wanted a bucket for each hand WHILE swinging. News to me! Then she was happy. I reminded her to say “please bucket” but not sure it registered real well while in bucket swinging heaven! Meanwhile, I am glad the little one does know what she wants and at least does communicate in one way or another about it. Looking forward to increased vocabulary!
Screaming gets the job done!
