Superkid Power takes a confusing turn with Captain America

Capt. America announced he was wearing his new Halloween costume to daycare Mon. morning when I was caring for my grandies. I told him we needed to check with his mom about that. “But Grandma, YOU are HER mom so why do you have to ask her since you are the mom?” “Because, Grayson, she is YOUR mom and makes decisions for you.” “Well, my dad said I am the boss and to take care of mom whenever he is not home. So you can’t be my boss because I am the boss.” “Grayson, I will text your mom to see about the costume. And when I am taking care of you, I am the boss for certain things but your mom and dad are the boss for big decisions.” “Well, I am the boss today.” “Grayson, your mom just said it was ok for you to wear the costume to daycare. And right now it’s time to get shoes on and pack up for the car.” “Grandma, you are being bossy.” “Right now I am in charge of getting you to daycare. Let’s get everything together and go.” “Well, I am still the boss today.” “Grayson, the person driving the car to daycare is the boss.” The conversation did not end there as we continued to discuss bosshood on the way to daycare. Capt. America evidently got a surge of empowerment from his costume! hahaha And Miss Claire added her two cents whenever she could in her own way, entering into a conversation that I was relieved she could not side with her brother on! hahahaha
