Listening to Kids Communication Skills

Specialized Claire jibberish mixed with the word ‘down’ made it very clear to me that Claire was finished with her dinner. Can you tell? hahahaha (Plate had already been turned upside down then tossed onto the floor….when a girl is done, she is DONE!) Really listening to children at all stages gives us clues to what they are saying and wanting. Babies and toddlers have feelings and thoughts that work differently than ours because of brain development phases. Claire is a good communicator…..even though a messy one at mealtime! 🙂
