SoccerCamp2-225x300“You aren’t going on the right road, Grandma Boom!” “Yes, Grayson, this road will get us to soccer camp.” “There are two roads to get there and this isn’t one of them.” “Grayson, your dad told me how to get there. This is the Grandma Boom road to get there.” “We are going to be late when you get lost.”

“Grayson, (I avoided telling him he was a backseat driver) just watch and you will see we will get there AHEAD OF TIME.” He watched. I drove.

We made it three min. early. I mentioned this to him. He just kept walking. I asked him for a high-five. He wanted to know why. I told him it was because the Grandma Boom road WORKED and we were early. He gave me a high-five and smiled pretty big. Sometimes I wonder if he will ever not watch what road I am on. This seems to be a pattern with the backseat driving. At this pace I’m going to start keeping a tally and when he learns to drive do payback! hahaha
